Aerial View Of Kota Kinabalu From The South
This was the first time the plane that I was in has taken off from runway 20, which is the opposite the one typically utilized. In other words, as an alternative of flying over Kota Kinabalu City, it flew more than Putatan. I was arranging to sit on the left if it did take off from runway 20. Even so, I thought that the plane would turn right immediately after takeoff, so I could get a compressed angle of the city centre from the south. My predictions came accurate and I immediately zoomed into the city and started snapping some aerial shots. Most of my photographs turned out blurry due to the wind from the engine. This was one particular of the two that was the clearest. This angle actually impresses me simply because you can even make out 1 Borneo and the Peak Vista’s Premier Tower is absolutely tall! The large bay is Likas Bay, although the airport runway is at the bottom. A bit of Tanjung Aru Beach can be observed at bottom left. My mind was only focused on the CBD at that time so I did not zoom into any other location during take off. Following this shot, I feel that taking off from runway 20 has its own pros as well.
